What is a Crewed Yacht  This may well be the most personalized and memorable vacation you will ever take. Think of your yacht as a floating hotel, ready to take you on an island adventure. The "crew" consists of the Captain and the Mate/Chef who are there to cater to your whim.

Do I need to know how to sail  No, you don't need any boating experience at all to enjoy a KosherSail charter. In fact you'd be surprised how many "firstimers" book their charter with us. KosherSail provides for your sailing adventure a professional crew that includes a Captain and a Chef/mate. They do all the sailing while you relax with a nice cool drink. Of course, you are always welcome to take the helm and sail, if you wish. This experience affords you more privacy and better service than aboard a cruise ship.

What is included   A full yacht charter includes captain and chef/mate; staterooms with private bath; all meals; beverages and snacks; wine for dinners and much more.

Who decides the sailing itinerary?   You do!!  That is what makes KosherSail an exciting vacation. Choose the Islands and places to visit. The Captain will chart a course based on your desires-to explore deserted beaches; to find the best shopping; to sample local nightlife; and/or to snorkel turquoise lagoons.

Children, will I be able to bring them?  Ahaa, that is what makes a KosherSail so special. This is a uniquely, fantastic family vacation. Our crew will provide guidance and assistance with snorkeling equipment, kayaks and other water toys. They are experienced in serving families with children.

What are my options    At KosherSail, there is something for everyone-couples or couples on honeymoon, groups of friends, singles, families with children and conventions.  You may reserve an entire yacht, book a stateroom only. You can also divide your time between sea and shore. 

Where do we board our yacht  We will meet you upon arrival at the airport and take you to your yacht at the marina. At the end of your vacation, we will transfer you from the yacht or hotel back to the airport. 

Who decides on the menu  The meal plans are decided upon booking the yacht. We will ship from stateside all Kosher provisions based on your tastes and needs.

Where do we spend Shabbos  We made special arrangements with the Flamboyant Hotel in Grenada. The chef will prepare the Shabbos meals on the yacht. The meals will be transferred to the Flamboyant where it will be stored in our own private kitchen.

Will I be able to make phone calls?  Yes, our yachts have ship-to-shore radios as well as cell phones.

Do we tip the crew  Gratuity is dictated by the quality of the service. As a guideline, we recommend 10-15% of the charter cost.
